Cherries & Almonds Tart for Two

Ingredients

Tart Crust

1 cup Almond Flour

2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder

2 tablespoon melted Coconut Oil

2 tablespoon Maple Syrup

1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt

Tart Filling

2 bars Chocolove Cherries & Almonds (reserve 6 squares for garnish)

1/2 cup Coconut Milk

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt

Garnish

Chopped Almonds

Dried Cherries

Recipe

Tart Crust

Combine all crust ingredients in a bowl and mix

Split between two 5-inch tart pans, press into base and sides with the corner of a measuring cup until firm and set

Bake tart shells in a preheated over at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until crust begins to dry and feels set.

Remove from over and let cool.

Filling

Begin by breaking both bars of Chocolove Cherries & Almonds into squares

Reserve 2 rows of 3 squares for garnish

Place chocolate squares into a heatproof bowl

In a small saucepan bring coconut milk to a simmer

Pour over chocolate pieces and let sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until fully combined

Add Vanilla and Salt to filling mixture

Pour the filling mixture into tart shells and smooth the tops

Chill in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or until set

Garnish with chopped almonds, dried cherries and reserved Chocolove squares
