Numerous certification bodies oversee all of the many aspects of chocolate production. From ensuring the fair social and ethical treatment of all people involved in the supply chain, to regulating how the cocoa and chocolate is grown, harvested, produced, and handled.
Chocolove realizes that we have a social, ethical, and sustainable responsibility, not only to consumers, but to workers and all other individuals involved in the supply chain. As such, we strive to make certain that all of our products meet the highest standards and receive all of the necessary certifications to reach this goal.
Chocolove works with internationally recognized bodies to this end, including Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade, Callebaut's Growing Great Chocolate, the World Cocoa Foundation (WFC), USDA Agricultural Research Service, as well as the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
